Pilates

Pilates was developed by Joseph Pilates, who believed mental and physical health were closely connected. The technique which focuses on core strength to improve overall fitness and wellbeing was founded in the early 20th century and previously know as Contrology.

At Head to toe holistic my focus is to ensure that Pilates can be enjoyed by anyone, no matter your age, ability or current fitness level. Like my yoga class my aim is to get you having fun, enjoying exercise and supporting you to get the most from your class.

Pilates is a low-impact form of exercise but taking part in regular sessions has many health benefits including improved posture, muscle tone, balance and joint mobility. My aim is to help you develop your full body strength and flexibility as well as relieve your stresses and tension.

My classes

Like everyone, my business has been affected by the restrictions placed on us during the covid-19 pandemic. As a result, I currently run classes on Zoom and in small groups at my regular locations. Check out my dedicated Class timetable page and Sign up to my mailing list for further updates.

My Pilates class at the village hall Hundon, North St, Sudbury, C010 8EE is everyTuesday 6:30-7:30pm is £6 a session or block pay £30 for 6 It is open to all, from those who have never tried Pilates right through to experienced practitioners. Booking is essential.
